Registration for fall soccer is now closed. There was
a great turnout for registrations this year. With over
275 registered players this year, JPYO will be fielding 10
county-aged teams. This includes the addition of three
new teams, two U-9 girls teams and one U-9 boys team.
The Girls teams are still looking for coaches. If you
are interested, please contact

Additionally, JPYO's in-house clinic will host 9 teams in
the 4/5 year division, and 5 teams in the 6/7 year division.
The 6/7 year division will be playing against the teams of

Baseball
Commissioner and Assistant Commissioner Needed
JPYO is losing a couple of
MVP's this year. Unfortunately, the 2008 season
was the last for Bill Kramer and Jim Odom. They
have decided to move on to other projects and will not
be returning next year for the 2009 baseball season.
The good news is, now is your chance to get involved!
JPYO is currently seeking enthusiastic and energetic
individuals to fill these positions. Some of the
duties you will coordinate, in cooperation with one or
more Assistant Commissioners, include:
-
Accepting
registrations
-
Assigning
players to teams
-
Recruiting
coaches and assistant coaches
-
Soliciting
team sponsors
-
Setting
the game schedules for the clinic leagues
-
Check
inventory and purchase needed equipment
-
Supervise
the conditions of the fields
-
Coordinate
and/or oversee a fundraiser (if needed)
-
Order team
uniforms/shirts (and distribute)
Unfortunately,
these are not paying positions; however, registration fees for
every JPYO sport (baseball, basketball, and soccer) are covered
by JPYO for all Board members, including Commissioners.
If you’re
interested in the position of Baseball Commissioner, or
Assistant Commissioner, or even would like to help with any one
of the items listed above, please contact Dave Cope, JPYO
President, at
president@jpyo.com or 443-324-6434. |
|
Online Payment
Please note that JPYO's current registration fees are: $50 for one player,
$80 for two players, and $100 for three or more
players. Registration fees help cover the costs of
Anne Arundel County team registrations, equipment, insurance, field maintenance,
referees, and various other costs associated with the program.
Thank you for your support!
