The JPYO Soccer League serves the youth of west Anne Arundel County by providing quality fun and skill development through recreational soccer programs for boys and girls age 3 through age 17.  We offer recreational opportunities for inexperienced players and are developing competitive teams as well.

Players age 3-7 play in JPYO's in-house instructional league.  All games are played at Provinces Park in Severn, Maryland.  Players age 8 and over participate in the Anne Arundel Youth Soccer Association and travel throughout the county to compete against other teams.

The JPYO Soccer League is an all volunteer program that strives to promote fair play, positive attitudes, responsible role models and friendly competition.

* Note:  Players must be 8 years old before they are allowed to participate in county games.  No exceptions to this rule will be entertained.  However, players who turn 8 during the fall season are allowed to practice with their teammates up until they turn 8 and then play in games once they actually are 8 years old.

AAYSA teams will be divided by skill level to accommodate all teams participating.  Division I is highly competitive, composed of experienced and skilled players.  Teams are usually selected by tryout or skill comparisons by the sponsoring Community organization (i.e., JPYO).  Division 2 is not as competitive as Division I, yet participants are skilled and experienced.  Division 3 is designed for recreational players and should be less competitive in nature.

Uniforms - Clinic teams will receive a team shirt and socks (no additional cost), County team players will purchase a new uniform (if needed) this season; $35 for complete uniform, (shirt, shorts and socks) or for separate purchases, shirt - $20, shorts - $15, and socks - $5.

Trophies - clinic teams will receive participation trophies, County teams will receive participation medals.

Fundraising - JPYO may not conduct the traditional fund-raising activities (candy/wrapping paper sales, etc.) this soccer season.  We are asking everyone to assist in finding local sponsors for our clinic teams.  Contact Dave Cope for more information.  This season the fundraiser will be the Kick-A-Thon.  More information will be forthcoming.

Concession Stand - All teams will be assigned volunteer time to assist with the Concession Stand.  Theresa Winkelmeyer will contact Coaches/Team Parents with more information.

JPYO Soccer Banquet - Due to low attendance in season past, there will be no end of season Soccer Banquet this season.

Volunteers - We need volunteers to assist in the following areas:  lining the fields, flag deployment and retrieval, coaches and assistant coaches, concessions, and team parents.  A few minutes of your valuable time will go a long way to ensure a successful soccer season.

Ideas, Comments, and Suggestions - Don't hesitate to present any ideas that will enhance the positive experience your kids have with JPYO sports.  The JPYO Hotline is 410-519-0883.
